Biotechnology Department│Applied Biotechnology Laboratory
The main research and development directions include various types of wine brewing technology with health functions, healthy food development, microbial fermentation engineering technology improvement, analysis and testing technology development and technology promotion.
At present, several kinds of fruit wine and beer with health appeal, various dried fruits and snack food have been successfully developed, and many industry-academia cooperation and technology transfer cases have been completed.
Biotechnology Department│Plant Factory
Equipped with circulating cultivation system, independent cultivation system, photosynthesis tester, leaf turgor tester, LED light group and air conditioning system, it provides a variety of courses for undergraduates and graduate students, and guides students to have the knowledge of hydroponic vegetables and plant factories basic technology.
Biotechnology Department│Aquarium Professional Laboratory
The Aquatic Science Laboratory is a space that combines both aquatic farming practices and showcases Taiwan's achievements in aquatic technology. The exhibit area features lively and vibrant themes such as zebrafish, tilapia, and clownfish to demonstrate the various aspects of Taiwan's aquatic farming in biotechnology.
For the practical training section, the system is designed to be semi-automated, allowing students to carry out relevant aquaculture work in the aquatic space not open to the public. This enhances their understanding and experience in aquaculture.
Healthcare Information & Management│Seminar Room
The main purpose of this seminar room is to provide faculty members and students with a space to discuss and write research papers, as well as to practice and complete assignments after class.
The room features:
1.A secure access control system
2.1 SAS Viya Base server and 15 desktop computers for students to work on their research papers and assignments.
3.Installation of visualization and analytics software such as Tableau, SAS Viya Base, and IBM SPSS (Base + Advanced) for faculty and students to use.

The purpose of this medical information laboratory is to study the application of computer information technology in the medical field, in order to assist in enhancing medical research and improving healthcare service quality.

Biomedical Engineering│Biophotonics and Signal Analysis Laboratory
Equipped with 3D printers (for medical and engineering use), laser cutting machines, welding devices, and various testing instruments to provide students with creative ideation, functional simulation, testing, and production of innovative medical devices.
Biomedical Engineering│Basic Medicine and Materials Laboratory
The experimental area is equipped with teaching equipment such as human anatomy models, anatomical models of various organs and human skeleton models, and multi-functional physiological measurement systems.
The cell culture sterile room is equipped with cell culture incubator, sterile operating table, fluorescent microscope, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and ultraviolet light absorption spectrometer, etc. Medical particle and cell image analysis, protein or polymer concentration detection and other special experiments.
Biomedical Engineering│Smart Ward
The instrument area is equipped with 3D printing equipment (for medical materials and engineering), laser cutting machines, welding devices, various testing instruments, etc., to provide students with creative ideas, function simulation, testing and production of innovative medical materials.
The smart ward showcases a variety of smart medical equipment that uses brainwaves to control hospital beds and wheelchairs, including small smart wheelchairs, speech rehabilitation, robotic arms, brain-controlled equipment and other prototypes of future medical technology products.
